The organisers will provide referees. However, clubs sending five or more fencers are encouraged to send at least a referee per five fencers. Qualified referees will be paid a day rate and all referees will be provided with lunch and refreshments. All referees must provide a valid BFA membership number.


Due to space restrictions, we have to apply entry limits, these have been based on entry numbers in previous years. We will continually review these as entries are received and may adjust limits appropriately. To assist with this, we appreciate early entries.


Depending on numbers, we may mix boys and girls in the poules. If this is the case, there will be two rounds of poules with the second round being unmixed. The event format will be chosen close to the event to ensure fencers have the maximum number of (unique) poule fights as possible, while still also ensuring that the event will run smoothly. An email detailing the event format will be circulated to all fencers prior to the event.


Armourers will be available during the day for personal repairs.


On the day, live results and piste allocations will be posted to live.cardifflpjs.co.uk
